The third and final round of the Skippy Infield series was run and won last night around the short and sweet Kansas Speedway infield.
With a grand total of only 7 corners around the 1.38km track, there wasn’t much allowance for crash avoidance when things go wrong. So naturally, there was as much chaos as there was clean racing.
With a big hurry up all night, and having to deal with lapped traffic, Dean Ross survived it all and came away with both race wins as well as the pole award, only just missing out to Alex Malone(finished 2nd) for the fastest lap.
Next week is the notorious iRacing season ending Week 13 for Season 2, and as such the Monday night series will have a week off.
The next series within a series will kick off March 22nd with the マツダ株式会社 (Mazda Motor Corporation) at Oran Park in the Mazda MX-5 Global cars.
